Why didn’t my Progress Bar fill up when I made a purchase?

The Progress Bar will only fill when transactions settle. This process will complete within 3 days for most merchants, but can sometimes take longer (ex: hotel transactions tend to stay pending for longer).

 

A review of the transaction-to-Spin process, using a Starbucks purchase as an example:

 

  1. Buy a coffee with your Fold Card
  2. Shows up in transaction history + push notification immediately; earned Spins will show up as “Pending” in your Spin Bank
  3. Once Starbucks processes your payment, the transaction will settle, your Spin will go from “Pending” to “Ready” in your Spin Bank, and your Progress Bar will fill up
