We are working on building in-app funding. Until then, you can initiate deposits from your bank or from third parties.
Funding your account from Third Parties (Instant)
Apple Cash and Venmo allow for instant or same day deposits. See above for instructions on how to fund using these apps.
Funding your account via your Bank (2-5 Business Days)
You can connect your external bank to fold by using your routing number and account number, both of which are found under the "Fold Card" tab under "View Account Details". Be sure to select "checking account" if asked whether your account is a checking or savings account.
Be aware you will most likely need to do two test charges prior to sending funds, which may add additional time the first time you deposit and connect your account.
Note: wires are not supported.
Direct Deposit (Same Business Day)
Direct deposit is a convenient and free way to add your paycheck, tax refund, or government benefits check to your Fold Card. To find your direct deposit information, view your routing number and account number, both of which are found under the "Fold Card" tab under "View Account Details"
