When will the credit card waitlist prizes be delivered? How will I be notified?
Per our Terms and Conditions, prizes will start to be delivered within 30 days after the end of the promotional period, which concluded on April 30th, 2025. We’re currently conducting a final review of all entries to ensure a fair and accurate outcome, and we aim to start awarding prizes during the week of June 2nd, 2025.
We understand everyone’s excited, and we are too. While we’re aiming to deliver prizes as soon as possible, this process does take time to thoughtfully and accurately complete.
Once we are in a position to begin delivering the prizes, eligible recipients will be notified directly via email.
What’s my final rank on the leaderboard?
As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, Fold reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate the terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activities. Such actions could result in adjustments to the leaderboard rankings at Fold's discretion.
Final prize recipients will be notified directly once the review process is complete and prizes are delivered. At that point, you’ll know where you officially ranked in the leaderboard.
Do I need a Fold account to receive my prize?
Per our Terms and Conditions, you must have a Fold prepaid debit card to redeem any prize in the credit card waitlist promotion. Statement credits will be awarded in the form of BTC deposited into your Fold account.
Do I have to pay tax on my prize? Will I need to report my prize when I file my taxes?
Prizes awarded through the Fold Credit Card Waitlist program, including statement credits and bitcoin, may be considered taxable income by the IRS.
