If you haven't already, start by downloading the free Fold app from the Apple or Google Play store.
Once you have created a Fold account, and verified the email address and phone number, complete the application for a Fold Prepaid Debit card, found on the home screen of the app.
Please note: there is no credit check for the Fold Prepaid Debit Card application
Once you've completed the application, we will ship out your physical card, which you should receive within 10 business days.
To activate the card account, you will be required to provide your name, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We must collect this information in accordance with The USA PATRIOT Act, a federal law that requires all financial institutions and their third-party service providers to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a card account.
