How can I apply for the Fold Bitcoin Credit Card?

We're currently in the early stages of a phased rollout of the Fold Bitcoin Credit Card, which means we're opening applications to a limited group of users first before expanding access more broadly. This approach allows us to make sure everything is running smoothly before we open things up to more individuals on the waitlist.


If you haven't received an invitation yet

Not to worry! We have a large waitlist, and we're working through it as quickly as we can. When it's your turn, you'll receive an in-app and email notification letting you know you're ready to apply, so keep an eye out for those and make sure your app is up-to-date.

 

To join the waitlist, go to our website, click the "Sign up for the waitlist" button, enter the email address associated with your Fold account (if you already have one), and tap "Join the list."

 

If you have received an invitation

And you already have a Fold account

You can apply for the credit card by following these steps:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. On the home screen, under the heading "More ways to earn," tap Fold Bitcoin Credit Card
  3. Tap the Apply now button
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts

But you don't yet have a Fold account

You can apply for the credit card by following these steps:

  1. Download the Fold app
  2. Tap the Get started button
  3. Submit your email and password, review our policies, and if you agree, tap the "Create account" button
  4. On the app's home screen, under the heading "More ways to earn," tap Fold Bitcoin Credit Card
  5. Tap the Apply now button
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts

 

Please note that, at this time, there is not the option to add an authorized user or apply for a business account.
