Is this real bitcoin?

  • Yes. The $5 value is denominated in Bitcoin (BTC) and goes directly into your Fold balance. Fold converts the USD amount into BTC based on current market rates.

What happens if I purchase bitcoin meal for a group of individuals? Does everyone get an individual code, or only the purchaser?

Is this promotion available for purchases made via a delivery app?

What if I lose my receipt?

  • The promotional offer can only be redeemed with the information on the receipt. Unfortunately, if you lose the receipt, the offer cannot be redeemed.

How can I tell if my redemption was successful?

  • You will receive an email with your promotional credit details. If your receipt cannot be approved, you will be notified at the email address provided.

What happens if I am not approved for a Fold (or custodial) account? 

  • U.S. regulations prohibit us from providing bitcoin to anyone who has not been approved for a Fold and bitcoin custody account.
