Reporting an unauthorized credit transaction

To report a credit transaction that was not authorized by you, thereby filing a dispute, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. Tap Credit
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you will see Transactions
  4. Tap the See all transactions button
  5. Tap on the transaction in question
  6. If the payment is still Pending, you will not have the option in the app yet to dispute it. In this case, you can contact the merchant for more information, or you can wait until the transaction settles, and then dispute it via the app.
  7. If the payment has finished processing, tap the Report an issue hyperlink below the transaction details
  8. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete filing the transaction dispute
