Making payments toward your Fold Bitcoin Credit Card

What is the minimum payment?

The greater of:

(a) $25 (or the total amount you owe if less than $25); or

(b) the sum of

(1) 3% of the New Balance on your Statement the periodic interest charges, and fees we have billed you on the Statement for which your Minimum Payment is calculated, and

(2) any amounts that are past due. Notwithstanding the previous sentence, if your New Balance is less than $25, you must pay us the total New Balance.

 

How to make a one-time payment toward your credit card

To make a payment toward your credit card via the Fold app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. Tap Credit
  3. Tap the Make a payment button
  4. Select your preferred payment amount: Full balance, statement balance, minimum payment, or custom. If custom, enter the amount you with to pay.
  5. Select your preferred payment method using the drop-down menu near the bottom of the screen: Cash/debit account, linked bank account, or add a new bank account
  6. Tap the Use this payment method button to confirm your selection
  7. Tap the Pay now button at the bottom of the screen
  8. You can review the details on the next page, and then tap the Done button
  9. You should receive a push notification confirming the payment that was made, and you should receive an email confirmation once that payment as finished processing

How to set up auto-payments toward your Fold Bitcoin Credit Card

To set up autopay for your credit card via the Fold app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. Tap Credit
  3. Tap Set up autopay
  4. Select your preferred payment amount: Full balance, statement balance, minimum payment, or custom. If custom, enter the amount you wish to pay.
  5. Tap the Continue button
  6. Select your preferred payment method using the drop-down menu near the bottom of the screen: Cash/debit account, linked bank account, or add a new bank account
  7. Tap the Enable autopay button at the bottom of the screen
  8. You should receive an email confirmation that autopay was enabled

Please note that auto-payments will be set up to take place the day before the payment is due. We do not currently offer the option to choose a custom payment date.

 

How to modify auto-payments toward your Fold Bitcoin Credit Card

To modify autopay for your credit card via the Fold app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. Tap Credit
  3. Tap Autopay scheduled
  4. Select your preferred payment amount: Full balance, statement balance, minimum payment, or custom. If custom, enter the amount you wish to pay.
  5. Tap the Continue button
  6. Select your preferred payment method using the drop-down menu near the bottom of the screen: Cash/debit account, linked bank account, or add a new bank account
  7. Tap the Change autopay button at the bottom of the screen
  8. You should receive an email confirmation of this change

How to cancel auto-payments toward your Fold Bitcoin Credit Card

To cancel autopay for your credit card via the Fold app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Fold app
  2. Tap Credit
  3. Tap Autopay scheduled
  4. Tap the Cancel autopay button
  5. Tap the Cancel button to confirm
  6. You should receive an email confirmation that autopay was cancelled
