The Fold+ Subscription is your access to the premium Fold Prepaid Debit Card rewards experience.
How does Fold+ work?
Getting a Fold Prepaid Debit Card is free, and Fold Cardholders have access to a limited bitcoin rewards experience.
Once you have a Fold Card, you can then upgrade to a Fold+ subscription, which gives you access to premium plan benefits.

Am I eligible for the 90-day free trial of Fold+?
The 90-day free trial of Fold+ is available to everyone who has never used a Fold+ trial before. If you start your Fold+ trial before you receive and activate your Fold Debit Card, the trial period will not begin until you've activated the card.
How much does Fold+ cost?
After the 90-day free trial expires, there are two billing plans available to Fold+ subscribers:
- $10 per month
- $100 per year
How do I upgrade to Fold+?
To upgrade to Fold+, please submit a request to our Support Team by following these steps:
- Open the Fold app
- Tap the menu hamburger in the top left corner
- Scroll down to the bottom
- Tap Contact support
- Fill out the form
- Tap submit
How do I pay for my Fold+ subscription?
Your Fold+ subscription payment will be automatically deducted from your Fold Account available balance on your renewal date (displayed as "Next billing period" in the app).
If you do not have sufficient funds for your subscription payment on that day, then your benefits will be paused until you are able to make the payment.
To rectify an insufficient payment, simply add funds to your Fold Card available balance and Fold will automatically attempt to process your payment within 24-hours. Once the payment goes through, your benefits will be restored.
When is my Fold+ renewal date?
Your Fold+ start date begins the day you activate your physical Fold Prepaid Debit Card once you receive it in the mail.
You can see your renewal date in the app by following these steps:
- Open the Fold app
- Tap the menu hamburger in the top left corner
- Tap where you see your name and Account and membership
- There you should see your "Active Through" date
How do I turn on/off automatic renewal?
To have Fold+ renewal cancelled, please contact support by following these steps:
- Open the Fold app
- Tap the menu hamburger in the top left corner
- Scroll down to the bottom
- Tap Contact support
- Fill out the form
- Tap submit
How do I cancel or downgrade from Fold+?
You can downgrade from a Fold+ subscription to just using the free Fold Card with limited benefits.
Since you pay up-front per month or per year, you are able to retain your benefits until your billing period runs out.
To downgrade, please contact support by following these steps:
- Open the Fold app
- Tap the menu hamburger in the top left corner
- Scroll down to the bottom
- Tap Contact support
- Fill out the form
- Tap submit
